Hanukkah commemorative video

The community lights the candles

The video mixes animation with scenes of congregants from the Tifereth Israel Synagogue of NY lighting Hanukkah candles to the sound of a Sephardi song.

  • Cycles

    Each candle has a different format. They are unique, and have their paths animated in a repeating loop.

  • Dance

    The candles dance, following the music tempo. The After Effects puppet pin tool creates the movement.

  • Final assembly

    The scene elements are converted into 3D and dance on the top of a table. Lights and a camera are added to the scene.
